I see what you mean about the seam -- certainly not as neat as a "proper" mattress stitch done well -- but a heck of a lot better than a lot of mattress stitching I've seen. I absolutely wouldn't call it sloppy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9058004.post-1147878135865725782006-05-17T10:02:00.000-05:002006-05-17T10:02:00.000-05:00Somehow, I think you'd be disappointed with my sea...Somehow, I think you'd be disappointed with my seams.Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13551974862059986737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9058004.post-1147875382467444192006-05-17T09:16:00.000-05:002006-05-17T09:16:00.000-05:00I think the sweater is cute. And I get my looks fro...I think the sweater is cute.

And I get my looks from my mom, who is the "white" parent....I look a lot like her, except darker coloring and dark hair. I don't know how I feel about fitted ribbed sweaters generally - they tend to add bulk. The vertical component of ribbing isn't always enough to counteract that effect. Still, nice work. The color is great, and the texture is interesting.Terbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18369167230239017381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9058004.post-1147750096627254692006-05-15T22:28:00.000-05:002006-05-15T22:28:00.000-05:00you are CRAZY for calling that a messy seam!!you are CRAZY for calling that a messy seam!!Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01142389198186796200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9058004.post-1147747316110587852006-05-15T21:41:00.000-05:002006-05-15T21:41:00.000-05:00It does look cute, but I know what you mean about ...It does look cute, but I know what you mean about chunky knits.
